Daylight Protect Limited, company number 12282258, registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is Quadrant House, Floor 6, 4 Thomas More Square, London E1W 1YW. We are a rights of light litigation facilitator for institutional and commercial property owners.
What data we collect
When you submit an enquiry, we collect: your organisation name, organisation type, your name and role, email address, phone number, property or portfolio address, the nature of the position, and any additional information you provide. We may also collect information about how you use our website.
How we use your data
We use your data to assess whether you have a rights of light position, to contact you about your enquiry, and to progress the matter if you choose to proceed. We may also use your data to improve our services, but only with your consent.
Legal basis for processing
We process your data on the basis of your consent (when you submit the enquiry form), our legitimate interests (in assessing and pursuing positions), and the performance of a contract (when you engage us to pursue a matter).
Sharing your data
To assess and pursue a position, we may share your data with: a chartered surveyor, our specialist property litigation panel (firms ranked in The Legal 500), a specialist legal insurer, and specialist counsel. We only share what is necessary for the matter, and only with your agreement.
Data retention
We retain your data for as long as necessary to pursue the matter and for a reasonable period afterwards. If you do not proceed, we retain your enquiry data for up to 12 months and then delete it, unless we are required to keep it for legal reasons.
Your rights
